Over three inspiring days, young people from across the Barents Region will come together to explore the power of culture, creativity and cross-border cooperation. Through workshops, discussions and cultural activities, Generation Barents 2026 will create a space for young people to exchange ideas, share experiences and explore how culture can help shape the future of the north.

Whether you're involved in music, art, culture, youth work, creative industries — or simply passionate about the role of culture in your community — Generation Barents is a place to meet others, learn, create and make your voice heard.

Generation Barents 2026 is organised by the Barents Regional Youth Council (BRYC) in cooperation with partners across the Barents Region, and forms part of Oulu2026 – European Capital of Culture.

Participation is free, including programme activities and meals. Places are limited, so make sure to send your application before the deadline!
