Generation Barents is more than just a youth event — it's a unique opportunity to shape the future of the Barents Region together with other engaged and motivated young people from Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Indigenous communities across the north.

Over two dynamic days in Umeå, you’ll participate in interactive seminars, workshops, and social gatherings designed to inspire, connect, and empower. Whether you're a student, entrepreneur, activist or simply passionate about your region — this is where your voice matters.

This year’s event is hosted by the Barents Regional Youth Council (BRYC), Skogsungdomarna, and the Norwegian Barents Secretariat, in partnership with the County Administrative Board of Västerbotten, Umeå Municipality, and the International Barents Secretariat.
