Are you a Barents Pilot?
The Barents Secretariat in Kirkenes and the County Governor of Finnmark has started the project "Barents pilots" that runs from December 2010 to May 2011. They already have in place a project manager, but they also need an enthusiastic and happy Barents pilot between 20 and 30 years of age. The task is to disseminate knowledge and commitment to the north among youth and teachers in secondary schools in northern Norway. This is a project position 100 percent from December to March (three months).
The focus will be on the Barents cooperation and opportunities in the High North. They will raise awareness and inspire young people to use the opportunities that exist in the region when it comes to international cooperation, work and education. The goal is to get youth to start their own cross-border projects and create an interesting region to live in.
